Dr Aaron Roberts BSc(Hons) MSc DClinPsychol CPsychol AFBPsS works as a clinical psychologist both in the NHS and at The Mind Body Clinic where he meets with individuals and couples. He is able to offer help with a variety of difficulties. He is also a visiting lecturer in clinical psychology and psychotherapy at a number of institutes. He is registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a chartered member (CPsychol) and associate fellow (AFBPsS) of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
He is trained to approach psychological therapy from a number of perspectives, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural (CBT), and systemic (including narrative and solution-focused). He has also undertaken further post-doctoral training specifically in psychodynamic psychotherapy and mentalization-based therapy (MBT). The above approaches are often ‘integrated’ to suit an individual person’s needs. Therapy is offered at varying lengths. All sessions are weekly for 50 minutes. Making a Beginning
