Areas of expertise:
Hi I am Zoe, and I am Chartered Physiotherapist currently working as a senior musculoskeletal outpatient Physiotherapist within the NHS. I qualified in 2011 from London Southbank University and completed my junior core rotations in physiotherapy which consisted of Musculoskeletal, Neurology, Orthopaedics and Respiratory with Central Surrey Healthcare in Epsom. My passion for the human physique and movement stems from a contemporary dance background and my current specialist interest is pain education and helping with the long- term management of acute and chronic low back pain. I can help you with management strategies and developing confidence to restart activities that you may have given up due to a low back pain problem.
Physiotherapy is largely an education and exercise-based therapy that can help a wide range of other musculoskeletal problems. These may be related to old or new injuries with view to long term rehabilitation after orthopaedic surgery or accident related injury with secondary problems that may have developed such as whiplash, tendon pain, plantar fasciitis/heel pain, balance/mobility problems or sport specific rehab. I can also help you with management of conditions such as repetitive strain injuries, as well as helping with management of conditions such as arthritis and multiple joint pain.
I am HCPC registered and I am also qualified to practice western acupuncture which can help aid with pain relief and muscle release alongside a solid exercise-based therapy program.
